Rain

People who live in Jakarta might have realized that in this few days, Jakarta has been very cloudy and it sometimes rains. As much as I love raining, I still do have something that I don't like about rain.

I like rain, because it makes the weather cool and nice, no more hotness, no more sun. It is nice to have rain sometimes, but when it comes often, I can't help but feeling angry because I can't go nowhere, because it made the surroundings all wet and damp.

But to be honest, rain rinses all kinds of dirt. It smooths the ground and makes the grasses grow. It is nice having rain sometimes, but not often. Cloudy? Sure I like. =)

Mid-Term Review

After awhile out of the world of blogging, it's finally time for me to update this nearly abandoned blog. I'm really really sorry I didn't post any posts earlier but I'll explain later.

So, after about two and a half months I stepped into the world of university, which I may say very very new and diverse compared from the high school life, I found out that I might have not prepared mentally well for this kind of environment. I know we all freshmen adapting while running but I just think this is too much for me. FYI, in the university life, the lecturers don't ask if you're late or why you didn't do you assignments. They just simply don't care with your grades or even you yourself. They don't want to heart any excuses, even if your beloved fish has died or you broke your fingernail.

The fact is, in university life you have to be independent and be responsible, for your every action will affect your very life and therefore, your future.

The diversity I mentioned earlier refers to the wide "selection" of friends you can make. I'm a proud Chinese, even though that doesn't mean I only interact with Chinese only. To be honest, if you accuse me of being racism, I might be a bit. But not extreme. I hate Indonesian people because they're so immature and it just makes me sick. Maybe it all came from my earlier education from my parents that Indonesian equals shit.

Anyway I joined this squad which majority of the members are Indonesian. And I happened to make friend with this Chinese only. They accused me of being racist but hello?

As I entered the university life, I realized that my major is practical and not academic or even theorithical, but the projects given are so time consuming and I go to the campus by bus everyday and it made me very exhausted. I nearly don't sleep every night and it could affect my health someday. I just hope that behind all this I can find something worth fighting for.

Now I have this little spare time to tell about university life, I just hope that all the torture could end and wish me luck for the mid-term exams! Ciao!

Blood: The Last Vampire

Well, this is an adoption film, adopting the Japan anime named the same.

I personally don't think that this movie will hit big sale because the bloodshed was not real, and also the ake up is a bit much, the camera angle is also kinda not nice. The color tone a bit dark, and the storyline is not much as expected. The acting not too good, monsters' design are ugly!

The only good thing about this movie is that it sometimes can make you shriek. =)

I give 6 stars out of 10!

The Ugly Truth

Okay the truth sometimes are ugly and we can't blame them. This movie teaches us that. Sometimes when we think what we were thinking, the truth is just the exact opposite of it and we couldn't help but wondering, what the hell is this and we can't actually do anything about it.

This story introduces Abby as a successful young woman who has control issue and a very rudely down to earth man named Mike. They both just don't get along. But on day when Abby met this perfectly cute guy, she actually asked for advice to Mike. Mike happily gave it and the plan went well, except the part that Mike is actually falling for Abby and vice versa.

The movie is hilariously funny and witty, yet so realistic in times. I don't know if you noticed, but Gerard Butler and Katherine Heigl are most likely the most frequently seen face in this year. Wonder why?

This movie also provides certain sexual jokes, so if you are a minor then don't watch. It's smart, it's funny. I give 8 stars out of 10!

4bia 2

Here it comes the movie that will haunt u tonight! 4bia 2 was released due to the success of 4bia, but the stories inside are not related with the prequel at all. 4bia 2 contains of 5 stories, each with its own uniqueness and thrill.

The first one called Novice, a young priest who ate the food for the hungry ghost. Because of karma he then became the ghost itself. The second one called Ward, where a young man who was in an accident eagerly looked to his "neighboor" in the hospital ward. He then became the old man whom he was so eagerly peeked. The third named Backpacker, which followed the story of 2 backpacker from Japan. They wanted to hitchike and got killed by the ghost the driver's made. The fourth called Salvage, where a boy killed when his mom tried to start the car. The fifth named In the Middle, a joke but quite funny.

Overall this movie is nice but not scary. I give 7 out of 10 stars.

The Love of Siam

A must see movie! The Love of Siam is a Thai movie but unlike the others, it provides us a way wider look of life. It centers the problem of most families: unhappy marriage, lost of child, and love. The movie is very romantic, touching and desperate.

The movie starts with a young kid named Tong who is very active. He and his sister, Tang accidentally threw gum onto neighbor and also schoolmate of Tong, Mew's head. Since then Tong searched way for redemption but never success until there was one day Mew was being bullied and Tong was there to save the day. Since then, they became close friends.

The relationships between Tong and Mew grew intense as they play together, sleep together and spending time together. They are so alike brothers. Tong has this one game alike treasure hunting where he bought a wooden Santa doll and split it, and let Mew searched each part from the given clues. It was nearly complete when the final part (the nose) which was hidden on a tree went missing because the tree was cut down. Tong was very upset but Mew remained grateful.

One day Tong had to go out of the town, and at the day he moved, Mew watched the departure of his friend and cried.

When Tong came back, Tang didn't came back with the family because she wanted to prolonged her vacation. This is no problem until a few days later she went missing. Tong was very depressed, but Mew was there giving his arm and shoulder to cry on.

After Tang went missing and classified dead, Tong's family decided to move out of town. Leaving Mew alone again.

Few years later when they both are high school students, Mew is the lead singer of a band named August and has a loving fan named Ying who lived next door (at the house where Tong's house was), while Tong also already has a girlfriend named Donut. Tong was going to buy Mew's album but there was none left, but then he saw Mew and they both feel the sparks came back. Then they traded phone numbers.

Mew has a manager named June. She looked a lot like Tang, and therefore was hired to disguise as the come-back-Tang by now a work-a-holic Tong's mother to distract her husband from his alcohol addiction. Then the relationship between Tong and Mew was once again renewed. They both are close to each other again.

Ying who has feeling for Mew finally said her feeling out, but Mew answered that she is a good friend. While the relationship between Tong and Donut is also endangered because Tong is willing to buy an expensive gift for Mew (Santa doll).

On the welcome party of the coming-back-Tang, Mew sing a song he made by himself. It was a love song, and he never made any before, even though the producer said to him to make a love song. Mew couldn't, but now he can. The song, is obviously for Tong. After party, Mew asked what he wants to say about the song, and Tong kissed Mew. Tong's mother saw this. Later then she confronts Mew not to see Tong anymore, which is even though denied by Mew, but still he keep distance from Tong.

Tong who knows nothing at all became frustrated. Then his mother told him all. When decorating Christmas tree, Tong's mother gave him a choice. To take the boy doll, or the girl doll to be put on the tree. Tong chose the boy doll.

Ying who now know the relationship the two, became supportive and helped Tong to gain the remaining part of the Santa doll. They went to the shop and Ying begged the seller to only sell the nose.

Last, Mew was about to perform at Siam Square. Tong decided to break up with Donut and he run to the Siam Square, accompanied by Ying. And there the ending scene was. After performing, Mew once again asked what Tong wants to say about the song, and Tong said that he couldn't be Mew's boyfriend, but that doesn't mean that he doesn't love Mew. He then give Mew a Christmas gift, the remaining part of the Santa doll, the nose. Back home, Mew put it back and finally completed the doll. He said thank you and cried silently.

There the story and I really think this is one of the best movie I saw this year. Not by special effect, but by the elements of the story. I give 10 out of 10 stars for this one!

And the lyric of the song Mew wrote for Tong:

Pre-College Life

Ah, after a really few weeks not having time to go to the net to update my blog, it is actually a really fascinating time to be able to update again my dusty blog.

This few weeks, or should I say this past month has been real busy to me. I have no time to play around yet I don't have enough money to spend elsewhere beside for buying for college equipments, which is horribly expensive.

I made some friends over FoPasBIN and TKH, some are better than others. Some are friendlier than others.

I am happy now that I have freedom to do what I want, when I want. But it also a burden that I have to take responsibility of what I've don. I guess that's just the way the world works, right?

Revolutionary Road

I don't really get what is this story about, but since this movie has won Oscar so I guess this must be good.

The story told us about the suburban life of an ex-actress and a guy. Their life is sure jagged every now and then but they'll come across. They both wanna live in Paris but then the husband got promoted. This brought a whole new conflict to the marriage.

I give this one 4 stars out of 10 (because I'm too dumb to understand).

17 Again

Okay, when I first watched this movie, for the first 20 minutes or so I thought that this movie is a joke. The hair style that Zac had, and all and all. But I tell u, after 30 minutes, it all became so awesome! The jokes are pretty funny and the story, even though kinda classic (like Freaky Friday) but still okay.

The story is pretty much about how young Zac who didn't go to college because he wanted to marry his love. 30 years later he spent his life grudging about that decision, resulting in divorce.

Then he wished to be young once again and he did. He then re-work on his relationship with his spouse and kids.

And there's also this character Ned, who was a nerd back in high school, he was in crush with the school's headmistress and the both turned out to be nerds. They even speak elfish. XD

I recommend to watch this movie if you want to have some laugh. I give 7 out of 10 stars.

Coraline

This movie is brilliant! I liked it. Even though a bit boring at the beginning and ending.

This story told us about a little girl named Coraline (not Caroline) who has just moved into her new house. Her parents are not very varing to her and so she one night found a passage into a new, exactly as her imagination parallel world.

At first she was very comfortable in there, but it grew to be a trap to keep her forever there.

You should watch it. I give out 8 out of 10 stars for this movie.

Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince

Now, this is my 2009 most wanted movie. And I loved it, even though I was sometimes a bit frustrated at how things were changed in this movie. I have watched it twice and I loved every minute of it.

Harry in this year would dicscover the secret of Voldemort's immortality: by using horcrux. However, it is a very difficult task to search for it, and don't mention destroy it. For retrieving one, Dumbledore ended up died. Killed by Severus Snape. Well, it was one of the saddest moment in the movie.

Magic wasn't very exposed here, and some characters have never appeared such as Vernon, Petunia, Dudley, Cho Chang. Oh, and the kissing scene with Ginny, euw.

I was kinda angry when David Yates told that Hermione and Ron have sparks, and so with Harry and Ginny, because it ruined the very essence of the book seventh. We will not be surprised by the chapter "30 Years Later" because we would've figured who ended up with who. So it's kinda reckless.

The story itself was pretty dark, and so the ones that didn't read the book wouldn't understand and therefore made judgement that this movie sucks. I can't blame them, for a movie suppose to not leave any question.

It's kinda funny that the tagline "I'm safe with you, Harry" actually didn't appear in the movie. I was waiting for that!

Okay, I loved the story, love the soundtrack. Hahaha... I give it 9 out of 10 stars for it.

Megan Fox: A Granny or Tranny?!

Okay, some people might have heard of it already, and some haven't. So I will tell you guys again, just in case. There's a wild rumor lately since the release of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen that said that Megan Fox was actually a man (transgender she is). A lot of conspiracy here and there, and this is the news I got from www.weeklyworldnews.com:

Pesta Buku Jakarta 2009

Okay, for you guys that are very very interested in reading and kinda busted, you might wanna go to this book fair.

I've been there yesterday and it was so-so actually. Books? Sure you can find a lot there, but mostly moslems and children book. There are also encyclopedias, politic book, history books and a lot more.

Price, they give discount vary. Ranging from 20% up to 70%. I got some books and it only cost like 15k IDR each.

This event only until July 5^th, it's at Istora Gelora Bung Karno, Senayan. So, be sure to show up!

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen

Well, just like its predecessor, it is a very very long movie. I got flat ass watching this one.

The story centers Sam now go to college, and met his new roommate Leo. He started to see symbols in his head after he touched some sort of allspark fragment. Then there comes the pursuit of Sam Witwicky by the decepticons, while the autobots protected him.

Some interesting stuffs in this movie are that there are actually female transformers, which didn't really get anything important except they're fast. Then one of the autobots had actually a pair of red eyes, instead of blue. And devastator (the emerged transformer from multiple tranformers) had green eyes.

Mikaela Banes a.k.a Megan Fox. Now this one I like. But I was wondering the entire movie, could she keep her mouth shut? She always doesn't really shut her mouth. Hot though. But to be paired again with Shia, kinda awkward for me. I mean, the prequel was just ok, but this time, 2 years later, Megan became much more of an adult but Shia still stays the same with tiny body. So it was like a younger guy with older girlfriend. Uh huh.

Overall this one is good, even sometimes I got confused what am I seeing, a face, a body or what?

I give 9 stars out of 10 for this one.

First I wanna give applause for this one that brings back memories of the past, yet the story itself is not that extraordinary.

This one is pretty much like a prequel since it told us the past life of Captain James T. Kirk. But that's okay. Maybe not all people also understand the future-present time procedure, and also the ridiculous double Spock(s). Silly.

Ummm, some science facts were again ignored, such as the kaboom in space, or that the ship can actually escaped the black hole. Don't you know that regular-sized black hole can even absorb light?

Well, that's why they called it SF. I guess I'm gonna give this movie 8 stars out of 10.

Terminator Salvation

Now this is like the best ever robotic movie. Actually when I watched this movie, I haven't watched any of the other Terminator series, except the TV series. I can quite follow, even a bit confused.

The action stuffs were pretty cool too. Nice one.

And the cameo/short appearance of the governer! Hahaha..

I give it 8 stars out of 10!

Drag Me To Hell

Well, for real-horror movie fans out there, you are going to be disappointed! At least I am. I thought this movie will be very very haunting, since the trailer is so horrific, and also it is Sam Raimi!

But it turned out silly. I mean, this movie exploited to much silly horror like the dead body still appearing out of nowhere, and the eyeballs jumped out, and such. It's like watching Scary Movie instead.

The ending is the best, since it was unpredictable. But Justin Long (played as Christine Brown's fiancee), his mimic is two thumbs down. Especially when Chistine was dragged to hell. It's as if he already knew. And the spanish chick that was the medium, irrelevant.

The sound effect is also awesome! It shocked me!

I give 5 stars out of 10.

Inkheart

Okay this one sucks. I thought it would be some sort of box-office but it ridiculously sucked. The story itself couldn't hold the secret for 30 minutes. After the boring first 30 minutes it just became lamer and lamer.

Brendan is fine but not to right for this role, and the other characters are all trash.

I recommend not to watch, I repeat, not to watch this movie! I gave it 4 stars out of 10.

After A Long Sleep

Okay, this few weeks have been so crazy I can't really tilt my head to the net. This is my first time blogging again after 3 weeks of mishaps in my life. A lot of things are going on in my mind but I will keep my posts posted as often as possible!

Today actually I was at school inspecting for the paskibra's training, but I took a break. Hahaha~ I brought my little brother over to the library because he wanna go to the net later, but guess what, when I came back unexpectedly, I caught him surf for porn! Of course, he tried to close it off, but since I am myself an expert in this stuff too so he couldn't hide it. Gosh he's a man now! Proud of ya!

Okay, I just watched it yesterday and first I thought that the storyline was cliche, but it actually not. In fact, after some cliche-ness going on for about an hour or so, the story twisted itself into the unexpected way. For example, when the main character Ben Campbell wanna re-co-operate with his teacher, I thought it was for real. And when it wasn't, I thought he woyld get the money but he didn't. Well. Nice though.

Tension built gradually. Some event that was pretty much cliche were everywhere like the main character got money, he forgot his friends blah blah because of cute girl blah blah. You know.

About the stars, not really well known except Lawrence Fishburne but that's okay. Give it 8 out of 10 stars!

Learning French

Okay I know it sounds gay when the word "learning french" was read. I think this is a way for me to know the world even wider though.

I love learning languages, currently speaks chinese, english, cantonese and some other which aren't very popular (including indonesian). For me, language is the source of communication, for me to make friends, worldwide.

Actually I will be learning this french at CCF (Centre Culturel Francais) at Salemba but actually my first choice was spanish, but it was kinda far at Trisakti University. Go figure where. But I think, french is cool too. Why not?

So, who want to join? The class starts at 3rd August and the registration would be opened at 21 July, for the level (1a only I guess) would cost you 1.245 million IDR. Quick quick chop chop! Okay I'm sounding like Art. Bleh.

Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles

Okay this is my first time reviewing a TV series, and Terminator got the honor. Hahahaha~

First of all, this movie full of action, for those that aren't into action, just don't watch it. You will get bored. I did too.

Second, the storyline is good, but I heard it was suspended during the release of Terminator Salvation. Compared to the movie terminator, this one in TV seemed much harder to beat. In this TV series, even when the head was chopped off, the terminator still lives. I don't know about the terminator type, but it's just not synchron with the movie which terminator was simply a garbage if it's headless. XD

However if you're a fan of terminator, just watch it! Won't regret it!

I give 7 of 10 stars.

Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian

Okay, this is a sequel, and I haven't watch the prequel but still I enjoyed it.

It's still funny, as I thoght. But some jokes were just too lame.

The Khamunrah, also funny. He likes to brag and to exaggerate, which is cool. And the others were just also as entertaining as hoped. Not bad, just the ending that was a big no.

Exhibiting the living sculpture? The dumb Abe? No no no.

Give it 7 out of 10. =)

He's Just Not That Into You

A chain love story where the characters are all have connections with each other.

The story itself told us that when they're small (actually this movie is for girls, and by "they", I mean the girls) and a boy treat you bad, that usually means that the boy like you. And that's how they see the world now. When a guy doesn't call, maybe he lost your phone number, or just too busy to call, or was out of the town, or maybe just simply got hit by a car and in a koma.

Girls, he's just not that into you! Watch this, and the drama queen even, could get a real lot of info about a guy's behaviour, and also some relationship tips.

6 stars for this, but since there're a lot of stars in this movie, I might as well give 7 out of 10!

The Duchess

I wacthed it recently and I would like give a few opinion about this movie.

First, Keira Knightley is so-not-duchess-material. She is too skinny and her eyebrows just killing me to watch! Although throughout the movie she successfully built the sorrow and sad duchess environment.

The story itself was pretty much like Marie Antoinette, but this duchess actually gave birth to a male heir. So, that's the difference.

Ralph Fiennes, so emotionless, maybe that's just the Duke of Devonshire's personality. He can be said like an animal, he wants everything that's within his grasp, and so and so forth.

This movie, I give 5 out of 10 stars.

So Much for the Prom Committe

Recently I have been sent an email containg full description of what the Bali journey seemed to be, and the more I read the more I became happy since I didn't go there. So much people said that they have wasted the 2.8 million for nothing, and this came not just from the girls, but also the guys. I have interrogated some guys and they all agree that the committe was simply not professional.

I would like to comment (again, this is just my opinion, I will not receive any call from committe about this) about the prom night. I heard that they hired DJ for dance. for DANCE. And the result was just too astonishing, nobody would want to join the dance floor, only a few of guys that danced. According to what my mate said: "SMAK 2 anak-anaknya cuma bandel kandang". Then the king and queen, decided by who screamed the loudest. I also heard that some committe used their mic and screamed for their choice, is it just me or this is an obvious act where (s)he wanted her choice won?

I really don't get it. But hell, I wouldn't care so much. Haha... Just have fun with the last trip which is I believe is very memorable, but just not in a good way. =3

Class Story

Recently I was trusted to write the class story for my class, for the XIIS2 residents, feel free to comment. =)

Once upon a time in a land far, far away... Ups lupa ini bukan lomba Bahasa Inggris. Huahahaha.. Ceritanya pake Bahasa Indonesia ajah deh.

Di sebuah kerajaan di negeri antah-berantah, dikenallah sepasang raja dan ratu penguasa daerah tersebut yang telah memerintah kerajaan tersebut secara arif dan bijaksana selama lebih dari lima dekade. Mereka memerintah dengan sangat baik, yang menyebabkan rakyatnya hidup damai sejahtera, aman dan sentosa. Rakyatnya semua mencintai raja dan ratu mereka dan begitu juga sebaliknya.

Meskipun begitu, di balik segala kesempurnaan yang telah dicapai raja (Raja Billie) dan ratu (Ratu Marisca), ada satu hal yang sangat menganjal hati mereka. Kejadian ini terjadi kira-kira seminggu yang lalu, ketika Raja Billie dipanggil oleh ibunya, Permaisuri Paskalina. Permaisuri menyatakan kekhawatirannya tentang jodoh putra mahkota kerajaan yang mana sampai saat ini masih belum memiliki tambatan hati. Raja Billie dan Ratu Marisca sekarang sudah tidak muda lagi, sedangkan dari ketiga anak laki-lakinya, hanya sang putra mahkota lah, Hizkia, yang belum menikah. Anak kedua raja dan ratu, Rizal, telah menikah dengan putri kerajaan sebelah, Janice, dan telah dikaruniai tiga orang anak yaitu Ayu, Michelle dan Frenky. Anak bungsu raja dan ratu, Eric, telah menikah dengan saudara jauh sang ratu, Phiebi dan memiliki tiga orang anak pula yaitu Daniel, Tommy dan Yulia.

Setelah berpikir panjang, Raja Billie akhirnya memanggil anak kesayangannya dan bertujuan untuk mendesaknya untuk menikah. Raja mengutus dayang-dayangnya, Christine, Felecia, Eva dan David untuk memanggil sang pangeran karena sang pangeran terkenal moody dan hanya mau berjalan jika diantar oleh wanita-wanita cantik. “Ada apa ayahanda memanggil aku?” tanya Hizkia. Kemudian dengan lembutnya sang raja menepuk pundak pangeran dan berkata “Nak, ayah sudah tidak muda lagi. Keesokan harinya, tak disangka-sangka ternyata datanglah undangan sayembara adri negeri seberang bahwa Raja Richie dan Ratu Helen sedang mencari jodoh untuk putri tunggalnya. Raja Billie melihat kesempatan itu sebagai sebuah pertanda dari dewa, maka ia segera memberitahu anaknya yang menanggapi berita tersebut dengan antusias.

Setelah melewati babak penyisihan yang super ketat, akhirnya terpilihlah tiga finalis yang akan berjuang untuk merebut hati Putri Alice yaitu Philip, pangeran dari Timur Tengah, Aldwin, penguasa daratan Asia dan Hizkia. Hizkia tanpa mebuang-buang waktu segera melancarkan jurus seribu puisi cinta yang disertakan dengan gambar rupa sang putri yang digambarkan oleh pelukis kerajaan terkenal, Yessica. Putri Alice sejenak tampak terpaku dengan hadiah Hizkia, namun segera dialihkan oleh Philip yang memberikan patung Putri Alice yang terbuat dari emas. Hizkia yang tidak mau kalah pun segera melancarkan serangan balasan berupa satu juta butir lipatan bintang yang dibuat oleh ahli kerajinan tangan dan kesenian kerajaan, Cindy. Alwin yang tertinggal selangkah lalu langsung mengejarnya dengan memberikan ginseng berumur ribuan tahun kepada Putri Alice, yang gemar dengan kegiatan botani. Hizkia lalu menyuruh penyihir tersohor dari Gunung Kawi, Kartika untuk membuatkannya ramuan cinta, namun sayang upaya tersebut digagalkan oleh Philip.

Demi menciptakan suasana kompetisi yang sportif, akhirnya Raja Richie dan Ratu Helen mengadakan pertanding gulat dengan juara gulat kerajaan: Felicia. Bagi siapa yang dapat mengalahkannya, maka dialah yang berhak menikahi Putri Alice. Felicia adalah pegulat yang tangguh. Dengan sekali serudukan saja Philip dan Aldwin langsung pingsan, namun tidak dengan Hizkia, yang sudah menggeluti bidang gulat sejak usia dini. Felicia pun akhirnya kalah.

Dengan Hizkia memenangkan pertarungan tersebut, maka yang berhak menikahi Putri Alice adalah Pangeran Hizkia. Acara pernikahan pun berlangsung dengan meriah selama tujuh puluh hari dan tujuh puluh malam, dimeriahkan pula dengan grup penari perut terkenal dari Timur Tengah, Marselina, dan juga performance dari daratan Asia oleh Jean, Carissa, Inez dan Heidi.

Sejak saat itu, kedua kerajaan tersebut pun bersatu, and they lived happily ever after...

So Much for the Prom

Monday, May 18th, my grade went to Bali for the last "together recreation" and also prom, but I don't think that all that went well. I recently read a blog, one of my friend's. She said the committee wasn't very professional and not strict to what happened to be their own-made-regulations.

I see this has been a problem many times since I'm in a committe containing people of my grade. They don't know what to do and they have no idea what should a committe do. Like years ago where we were working for orientation week for freshmen, some of the girls just too lazy to come early to school to have a meeting, and some even didn't show up and some are unforgivably didn't give reason, didn't call and the worst, didn't want to come because they have "family gathering" over some posh places or abroad but they still want to be known as a "COMMITTE" just because they have written some draft about some schedule that's useless, in fact.

What made me really pissed off this time is that after 3 years of together, where we should've known each other's characteristics, I just can't believe that someones like them would be the committe after all. They're lazy, egoistic and yet they just want to be committes because of the advantages it's given: to rearrange schedules all they want, to come back even later than anybody else, and to have privilege to access certain information.

I mean, this is the last, there won't be a next time after this, and even though some of us didn't go as well, I can see why they didn't. I have foreseen that stuff like this would happen, given the committe are like that, but hell, it's over and there's nothing I can do to change it, right? So just introspect yourself.

Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness

This one is more insane because I have spent like about 500 hours to play it and raise my characters' level to level 6,000! Level 6,000 is practically invincible but the maximum level you can get is 9,999 so I'm aiming fot it.

However, this story also has main storyline and also an additional storyline which you can unlock by pressing a series of button combination at the start menu.

The main reason that I am so addicted to this game is that this game has so much inventories to be collected, searched and upgraded. It is so challenging but annoying sometimes.

This game worth 8 of 10 stars!

Prinny: Can I Really Be The Hero?

After spending a couple hundred hours to play this insanely hard game, I finally decided to write something about it.

I copied this game from my friend and he couldn't stand to play this game for so long like I do, but I actually liked it. The game is using the traditional 2D characted and then blend it into the 3D environment, but still stick onto the old fashioned-Mario style game analogue.

Prinny is so very hard even in normal mode. You are given 3 chances to get hit then you die. In hard mode (hell's finest mode) you will be dead as soon as an enemy strikes you! For 10 normal story stages, you are given 1,000 lifes to spend and beat the game. I have to spend more than 10,000 lifes before I finally beat the game. So lame, I know. However, when you beat the game, you still can play it because there are so many secrets that are waiting to be found, awards waiting to be unlocked and of course like any other NIS games, there is an alternative storyline unlocked by colleting torn letters.

I see this game as a tough challenge for an RPG fan, but then again if you don't have enough patience, you might end up throwing your PSP against the wall because you just can't get through certain phase of the stage. XD

I give this game 8 of 10 stars!

Deception Point

Yesterday I just finished reading this last book of Dan Brown that I haven't read. As usual, Dan brought mysteries and thriller with intrigue all blended in one book.

I should say I was a bit disappointed with this book because the story is not as exciting and as mind blowing like Da Vinci Code, Angels and Demons or even Digital Fortress. The story's main mystery: Solving the meteorit that was found beneath north pole is not so great. The trick to manipulate the meteorit and the theory are not convincing. The ending also not so awesome, too usual, really a disappoinment for a writer at Dan's class.

However, it was well written and it gave me some knowledge that I never know before, and I think Dan's fans should read it. It was worthed it.

I give 6 of 10 stars.

My Bloody Valentine

My Bloody Valentine, I watched it 3D at Blitz Megaplex at Mall of Indonesia, with the so much expensive ticket fee, I thought the movie and the experienced I'll get are worth it. And now I doubt it.

The story begins where a small town was terrorized by the serial killer Harry Warden. He then confirmed dead after the attacks at the Hanniger's mine. A decade later Tom (Jensen Ackles) came back from nowhere to sell the mine. Then the murders returns.

I should say the ending is a bit surprising so it is not a bad movie at all, but the typical 3D story element (camera-hitting orientation) sometimes became so annoying.

I give 7 out of 10 stars!

Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles

One of the masterpiece that CLAMP has made. By blending every character that they have made in their previous stories, they write a new story with similar even the same name or personality with the original series.

The story is about the journey of a young man to retrieve the lost wing feathers of the beloved princess that he loved.

And the most interesting part, thiis story is made to connect stimulously with its other story: XXXHolic.

I give 9 of 10 stars!

Angels and Demons

After waiting for so long since The Da Vinci Code, the newest religious thriller Angels and Demons is finally released today in Indonesia! Still using Tom Hanks as Robert Langdon, the story takes place way before the time setting of The Da Vinci Code. And of course the story is not as controversial as The Da Vinci Code, except the same thrilling sensation dan will not let you look at the other way!

I've read the book and very disappointed to know that the producer made some changes especially the name for the camerlengo Carlo Ventresca, which is alright European name, and it's changed into camerlengo Patrick McKenna which is so American! And still, I don't like Tom Hanks to be Robert. He is not the way I imagined Robert. Robert is more like Harrison Ford than Tom.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to see the movie though. X3

3 Years of Together

As I said earlier in my post, today is the first officially for us seniors in SMAK 2 to be released from "duty" as in studying, waking up early, dressing neatly...

It is kinda sad to know that my friends that have been there with me will go away, will separate and walk their own way. In university life that is obviously more individualistic and cold and dangerous (exaggerating), will I find friends that will be just like the way I wanted, that we can have fun with each other and care for each other.

Will there be?

The special moments that I will never remember as the weekly gathering of Soyamilk, even one of us was casted away to some abal school, but still we are one. Even though Helen is going to Malaysia, and Kentvin to Singapore and the rest of the gank are separated in their own colleges, I believe we will always remember each other.

And when I was at my sophomore year, I used to bully Arlene, which is one of my best friends. I will always remember her even we will be far away from each other. Thank you for Jean that always has the most complete notes of all subjects, Carissa for supporting me in every competition and a good Mandarin partner, Dodo that always teach me Math, Frenky for Accounting, Maru for gaming and paskib, all my fellow mates in paskibra SMAK 2 that have been through a lot together during training, Melvi for good accompany in the freshmen year, April for good support via internet and everybody else that I can't describe them one by one. Thank you all. Good luck to you all!

Watchmen

This movie is awesome. Some say not though. The story is somehow sarcastic yet vulgar. The vulgar parts were spreaded in various scenes like at the TV that The Comedian was watching, or the scenes where Silk Spectre II and Nite Owl II had slept with each other or the TVs that Adrian Veidt was watching bla bla.

However, the story itself has given the unusual ending for where the seemed like the bad guy one didn't get punished yet the superpower one punish no one, and the death of one of the "rightest" guy in the movie... It is really really awesome movie. I will give my two thumbs up for Zack Snyder who has made once again, a good movie.

And the dedication of Patrick Wilson that willing to add weight and buffing his body so he doesn't have to use "buffer" to make his body looks buffy in Nite Owl suit.

I give 8 stars of 10!

Race to the Witch Mountain

Recently I've watched Race to the Witch Mountain with one of my mate, and it turned out just fine. I personally think this movie is just a little bit below the Disney's standard, because the movie is very much obvious low-budgeted. It can be seen from where the movie has taken place, indoor mostly.

However the acting of Dwayne Johnson is okay, and the extremely gorgeous Anna Sophia Robb and Alexander Ludwig just right to help this movie, because the storyline is very much standard and common. About alien, which recently a LOT of such topic has been filmed.

Overall, I give 7 of 10 stars. XD

Menunggu Waktu

Duh hari ini adalah hari yang penuh dengan penungguan, dimana aku menunggu kedatangan coach dance aku yangsangat amat ngaret. Nanti jam 10 juga mau pergi lagi. Siang baru kembali ke sekolah...

Tadi baru aja main game Word Challenge, Who's Got The Biggest Brain sama Geo Challenge. Susa deh buad dapetin jadi yang apling top rank. Dan schock na, volume otak aku tadi 2000an, dan world high score na 6000+! OMG apa mereka jenius?

Konser Sekolah

Hari ini sekolah buad anak kelas XII libur, jadi aku punya banyak waktu buat santai dan merenung. Hahaha... Ga deh sebenernya santai aja ga merenung.

Hari ini ada konser kecil di sekolah gitu, mulai acara jam 6 sore, dan diperkirakan akan berlangsung selama 1 jam. Yah bete n ga dapet apa" sih tapi lumayan lah isi acara itung" amal. Hehehe...

Yang agak mencengangkan, ternyata boka n nyokap mau ikutan nonton, which is very surprising. Dan aku ga akan pulang deh ampe malem. Ini aja lagi di sekolah. Huahahaha~

Yah however, semoga acara na success deh, klo ga success pun, semoga dance na sukses! Yeah!

Perihal Perekrutan GM Audition

Wah ternyata setelah dikonfirmasi di blog sebelah ternyata sebenarnya perekrutan itu tidak pernah ada dan DJ yang asli hanya lah yang terdaftar di forum. Sedangkan club berinisial MC itu hanya inisiatif player biasa ajah, yah kayak Laskar Dumbledore (Dumbledore's Army) gitu aja. Jadi udah bisa lega sedikit lah, minimal jangan ketangkep SS. XD

Hari-Hari Terakhir Sekolah

Huaa... Di hari" terakhir sekolah, dimana UN udah berhasil dilewati dan begitu juga dengan ujian praktek, semua udah drop semangat belajar na. Jujur aku juga udah luntur semangat belajar na karena yah udah tinggal few days away from US.

Seperti pada contoh na hari ini banyak banget yang ga masuk, mpe ditelponin gitu. Hahaha... Jujur yah sebener na cape juga sekolah kayak gini, tapi di sisi laen aku tau ini tuh saat" terakhir di SMA. Harus dinikmati!

Kalo soal belajar yang makin drop, ntar kuliah gimana bisa maintain semangat di kelas yah? Apalagi kuliah di depan komputer gitu. XD

Audition Rawan Cheat?!

Wah gawat diliat dari blog tetangga kata na tuh Audition mengadakan rapat internasional yang isi na tuh mengatakan diangkat na sejumlah Game Master dan Sub-Game Master yang akan rajin berpatroli di server" untuk mencari dan mambasmi cheater. Nah kita yang nge-cheat harus hati", bisa dimulai dari ganti nick dan jangan cheat lagi, terlebih yang udah level gede. Bahaya!

Trus FYI, mereka (Audition Indonesia) para pembasmi cheater na menggunakan nick yang berawalan "MC", a.k.a Megaxus Community. Hati" guys! Tetep pantau di forum!

My Birthday

Waduu.. Setelah sekian lama ga buka blog, karena sibuk UN dan ujian praktek gitu. Hehe...

Kemaren pada tanggal 4 Mei ituh adalah hari ulang tahun aku ke-20. Agak sedih sih karena udah berkepala dua dan udah harus memikul tanggung jawab baru sebagai seorang individu dewasa, dimana di saat-saat liburan udah ga bisa santai di rumah melainkan mencari part-time job. Huhuhuhu~

Maka dari itu aku berharap semoga di umur yang baru ini aku bisa menjadi individu yang lebih wise, bijaksana dan tentu aja tetep oke!

Aku juga mau mengucapkan thanks buad Wiwi yang pertama kali ngucapin happy birthday, yang lalu disambung dengan Nandu, Juu, Jean, Didu, Fele, Felynne, Bram, Ndu, ci Lisa, Rendy, Cath, Asep, Bryan yang udah malem" ngucapin. Hehehe... Dan ga lupa dengan total" 85 orang yang ngucapin. Thank you alL!

Habis Ambil Rapor

Aduh.. Hari ini adalah hari yang sangad kelabu karena hasil rapor mid na jelek. Dari 4x try out ga lulus 2x. Bener² udah ga ketolongan. Haha..

Tapi ga papa. Masi ad 1x try out lagi. Aku harus usaha! Huaaa! Oh iya aku cuti Audition sementara. Ntar selesai US aku maen lagi. Hehe..
